This course is intended to take a transdiagnostic perspective to understanding the role of sleep and circadian disturbance in mental health in a way that is relevant for both research and clinical practice.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Explain the transdiagnostic perspective on the relationships among sleep, circadian rhythms and mental health;
- Understand how patient social and demographic factors play an important role in these relationships; and
- Integrate sleep and circadian interventions into the clinical management of patients with mental health disorders
